Crafted from locally sourced clay from Michoacan mines, its unique texture is achieved by compressing the clay with fingers or thumbs to create the distinctive pineapple "scales" which are then added one by one. The sculpture features sheen textural designs with various pineapple patterns and a removable top with hand-carved leaves.
