The first Queen of Silla (one of Korea's Three Kingdoms), Queen Seondeok, is regarded as benevolent, wise, and beautiful.

She cared deeply for her people and fostered a renaissance in the Silla kingdom, focusing on literature, philosophy, art, and education. Queen Seondeok is responsible for Cheomseongdae, the oldest surviving dedicated observatory in Asia, and possibly the world.

Her fragrance is a stone observatory under a deep blue sky, peonies at night, rice paper scrolls, dark ink, and hinoki wood.
