From the maker
He has lost something. It was probably important.
One hand is up behind his head and the other carries the club across his body, and the whole pose is a shrug rendered at giant scale. A wide strap crosses the chest to a heavy satchel on the hip, stuffed full and sagging. He is the least threatening giant Medusa sculpted, which is exactly why he is useful.
A Pose You Cannot Buy Twice: Almost every giant miniature on the market is mid-swing. This one is thinking, and that single decision makes him the only model in a giant collection that can share a table with the party without a fight starting. The raised arm opens up the whole torso and armpit, which is awkward to reach with a brush, so paint the body earlier in the sequence than you normally would. The satchel is a large plain leather panel and the obvious place for a freehand mark.
