I was extremely honored to be asked to create the official Centennial map for Monongahela National Forest in 2020, and this map is the commemorate artwork that came out of that collaboration.

Featured creatures and landmarks: a native brook trout, red russula mushrooms, Spruce Knob, haircap moss, jack-in-the-pulpit flower, yellow birch tree, Appalachian grizzled skipper, West Virginia northern flying squirrel, Cranberry Glades Botanical Area, Seneca Rocks, and the High Falls of the Cheat. The hiker walking on the Cranberry Glades boardwalk is my sister!
