From the maker

Part of a series of visually stunning, photographic fine art prints from the archive of photographer, John Barry. Digitally scanned to the very, very highest standard from the original ‘Medium-Format’ Kodak 120 transparencies, these images have never looked better.

In the early days, John worked closely with Frank/Chris and was responsible for the lion’s share of photo images featured on Frank’s records and in ‘Oink’ comic.

Instantly recognisable, this is a breathtaking alternative shot for the ‘gatefold’ image used on the ‘5:9:88’ double album. The amount of effort and care that went into this photoshoot is mindboggling. They do say ‘The devil is in the detail’
