Did you know Penelope produced a movie? She of course had no interest in the script I submitted about the true story of my immigrant father’s journey to find his long lost aunt from Sicily who worked as a secretary directly for Mussolini. Instead she made a movie about a hermaphrodite dolphin who bit its trainer's penis off during a live show at Seaworld SanDiego and the vet’s difficult mission to try and retrieve the bitten of genitalia from the ambiguous dolphins stomach before the dolphin stomach acid digests it. Again, Penelope putting profits before art. Of course, the movie bombed because moviegoers saw it for the clear cash grab that it was. Sadly, it made a lot of money in DVD rentals so of course they greenlit a sequel despite the poor boxoffice performance.
