The most famous city in Guatemala known for its wonderful open-air markets and the continued worshiping of many of the old Mayan gods despite centuries of proselytizing by Catholic and Christian missionaries. Ripe ripe fruits spill out into the air, sensual and refreshing but making you itch for more at the same time.
