A single, life cast fox claw dangles from our signature bar link chain. This claw is from a Red Fox, molded near the very beginning of BloodMilk and are offered now to honor 18 years of jewels.

Foxes carry with them the folklore of transformation and shapeshifting with Japanese culture via the Kitsune, while in ancient Celtic folklore, the red fox was seen as a guide between worlds and to the afterlife. In many cultures, the fox is associated with intelligence and cunningness, as they have a highly sensitive capacity to hear and smell as well as night vision.

Laurel Hill Cemetery here in Philadelphia is known for its foxes and it's always been amazing to get to see the kits on occasion wander among or sometimes beneath the graves. I liken the times I've gotten to witness this to this necklace, the ability of foxes to move between worlds, their ability to assist in carrying grief in the form of these earrings.

Our Fox claw is a far smaller than my other offerings, making it a great layering piece or a more subtle statement.
