When I create designs that seem focused on beautiful things: moths, flowers, celestial ornament … I also like to hide a message. Protea flowers and luna moths share a common mythological backstory, representing transformation in nature.

Many school age children learn about life cycles by raising luna moths in class, enjoying feeding the caterpillars and marveling at their final form. We drew on the vivid pale green of its wings in selecting this buttery soft mint tee, a celebration of its beauty.
