In the stories of King Arthur, Excalibur is the mythical sword of the king, and is one of the most well known swords from legend. The story of how Arthur acquired the sword vary through time, but are primarily either the legendary sword in the stone or a gift from the Lady of the Lake.

For this piece I have created a stained glass Excalibur inspired by the legends. The hilt is made from amber glass and handpainted with silver and gold. The blade is clear and detailed with silver to give the idea of dimension.

Excalibur is available with or without a detachable garland of sparkling starlight, created from iridescent glass. The garland can be hung by itself or on the sword from a discreet loop.
