Some lanterns glow. This one looks like it came from a vampire’s private study.

This Count Magistus lantern by Alchemy Gothic uses etched glass and gothic character artwork to create a dramatic light accent that feels old-world, theatrical, and perfectly suited to darker interiors.

Count Magistus artwork gives the lantern a vampire-gothic focal point

Etched glass design catches light for a softer, more haunted glow

Compact lantern form makes it easy to style on shelves, altars, desks, or mantels

The reason this piece works is atmosphere. The count-inspired design brings gothic narrative, while the etched glass keeps the finish more refined than a loud printed decoration. When illuminated, the image feels less like artwork and more like something watching from the dark.

That makes it especially strong for vampire-inspired rooms, Halloween displays, gothic libraries, and candlelit corners that need more story in the light.

The Experience

Moody, theatrical, and much better once the glow turns the glass into a small haunted portrait.

Where to Wear / Use

Perfect for shelves, desks, mantels, reading corners, altars, Halloween styling, or any room that deserves a darker old-world glow.

Style It With

Pair it with red velvet, black candles, antique books, pewter decor, or other Alchemy Gothic lanterns if you want the count’s presence to feel fully at home.

Material & Feel

Etched glass gives the lantern a smooth and refined surface, while the artwork becomes more dramatic when lit from within.

Final Touch

Light for people who prefer their rooms a little haunted and their decor a little aristocratic.
