It is a 100% natural stone and has no backing, pooch or other treatments. Crystal opal from Australia is considered by many to be the premier opal, second only to black opal. It's low water percentage makes it a very stable piece for years, even generations to come.

The band is a wider ring, with an 8mm ring shank, that widens to almost 18mm on the top.
