Handmade in San Bartolo Coyotepec, and shaped by hand this vase is fired in an underground wood fire ove, creating its unbelievable deep black color. Made by master artisans, creating intricate patterns, a beautiful vase to witness the light seeping through its delicate carvings.

No glaze or dyes are used, the clay acquires its black color from the special mud in Coyotepec and the smoke used when baked
