A one of a kind coat pieced from scraps of vintage Japanese kimono silks. Various green colors and textures of fabrics were sewn together into a pattern reminiscent of odd shaped property lines when seen from above. There are pockets in the side seams. Fully lined with silk charmeuse. 4 vintage glass buttons line the front. Garment measures 46 inches bust, 49 inches hips, length at center back 33 inches. My coats are a bit roomier than my jackets, This coat is my size medium. [Approximate industry size 14-16.]

All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this trench coat was woven, stenciled and painted by Japanese artisans and finally sewn into a kimono. I removed the hand stitching, washed and prepared the fabric and sewed it into my trench coat design.

Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
