In Greek mythology, Zeus Xenios was the protector of guests and the sacred tradition of hospitality.

Eugene was one of the first to welcome Hearth and Altar into the wet shaving community, and we haven't forgotten it. This collaboration is our tribute to those who open doors, make room at the table, and welcome others in.

In that spirit, $25 from every set of Xenios sold will go to the Caldwell County Animal Coalition, a charity chosen by Eugene. Because hospitality and compassion should not end at our own doorstep. Inspired by the timeless elegance of Armani Eau Pour Homme, this fragrance is a meticulous reconstruction of the original scent.

Beginning with a vintage decant more than three decades old, we undertook an extensive process of olfactory evaluation and formulation, rebuilding the fragrance from the ground up. Rather than relying on a pre-composed fragrance oil, we developed our own formulation to replicate the distinctive character and spirit of the original.

The result is a tribute to a classic, refined through our own hands and, most importantly, approved by Eugene himself.
