While the 'Double Epsilon' is a beloved icon in modern jewelry, it is an artistic reimagining of the Delphic mystery. Though historical records of the Temple of Apollo speak of a singular, mysterious 'E' (The Delphic Epsilon), the mirrored 'Double E' seen here - and everywhere in jewelry shops - is a later creative evolution.

Most likely this symmetrical form was chosen for its perfect visual balance (and practicality!), and as a reflection of the harmony and equilibrium that the philosophers of Delphi sought to achieve. It is more an artistic tribute to a mystery that has fascinated seekers and creators for over two thousand years.
