From the maker

The blade is notched along its whole length. He has never once had it reground.

Bran Runecut believes a weapon should carry its history where people can see it, and the marks cut into that greatsword are half maker’s work and half accident. He fights the same way — forward, loud, and entirely without a second plan. He shares a pose with his clansman who carries the round knotwork axe; the two of them have never agreed on which weapon is the sensible one.

A Sculpt You Can Tell Apart at a Glance: Arbiter Miniatures gave this one a broad, jagged, rune-engraved blade swept back behind the shoulder — the fastest way to distinguish him from the round-bladed barbarian elsewhere in this range, who otherwise shares his stance. Those cut runes are deep enough to hold a wash on their own, and the bare torso gives you a generous surface for skin practice.
