From the maker
The hood went on before the sentence was read. It never came off.
Whatever this one did in life, it was done in that hood and in front of a crowd. The torso is bare and lean enough to count ribs, the halberd is spiked along the haft as well as the head, and a knotted cord hangs at the waist with the weight of something that used to be a duty. He is the tallest silhouette in the range by a clear margin.
Two Textures Meeting At A Hard Line: The hood and the halberd are smooth, and everything below the rope belt breaks into torn ribbon that curls forward as if it is still moving. That boundary at the waist is the single most useful thing on the model: it gives a wash somewhere to stop, and it lets you keep the upper body opaque and the lower body glassy without a gradient. The spiked haft is a row of tiny catch points that reward a silver dry brush.
