Both blades out, both pointed at the floor.

Kest keeps the daggers low and turned in, which is what someone does when they intend to still be standing next to you when it happens. The hood is up and the face is shadowed inside it. The purse on the belt is already full, so whatever this job is, he has been paid for it in advance.

A Hood Up Or Hood Down: This sculpt and our shaved-head rogue are the same body with one difference: the hood. That is the feature to look for if you own both and need to tell them apart on the shelf. The hood itself is a hard cowl with a strong internal shadow, so a dark recess wash under the brim gives you a face you never have to paint. The gambeson is horizontal quilted rows, which is repetitive but fast, because one drybrush pass catches every ridge at once.
