According to Egyptian mythology, the Bennu bird was a self-created being said to have played a role in the creation of the world. It may also have been the inspiration for the phoenix in Greek mythology. This strong neck piece is named after Bennu because of its unique and ethereal qualities.

This choker was hand-weaved with an intensive complex stitch of all different kinds of rare vintage plastique feather, vintage brass beads and charms.
