The human brain can generate about 23 watts of power – enough to power a lightbulb. The brain is made up of networks of small cells called neurons that communicate electrochemically with each other to enable us to think, feel, and interact. Electrical signals are constantly traveling across the brain, using 20% of your metabolic energy every day.
