Zinapécuaro Hummingbirds Sphere Ceramic Vessel Handmade Zinapécuaro, Michoacán

This long-neck sphere carries two hummingbirds hand-painted on seperate sections of its body. The hummingbirds become the guardians of beauty and movement in this ceramic piece. Its sides twist in carved rectangular spiral, creating depth and texture. Made with ancestral technique negative imprint: the clay is fired, pulled from the flames mid-process, painted, then returned to the wood oven to smoke slowly. The result is a smooth, luminous surface, burnished by hand with river stones. It's dark body and subtle shine are the signature of time in fire. Perfect as a centerpiece or for a single flower that deserves to be the star.
