“Lines are not written into the human hand without reason.” - Aristotle

There are over 50 methods of fortune telling; from tasseography which uses patterns in tea leaves or coffee grounds, and pendulum readings based on the movement of a suspended object, to palmistry. Palm reading is the interpretation of one’s future based on the various lines and features of one’s hand. It is believed that the practice began in Ancient India and then spread throughout China, Tibet, Persia, Egypt, and Greece.
