Svala Highaxe fights people taller than her, which is most of them, and she solved that problem years ago by refusing to meet anyone at their own height. She comes in low and rising. The axe is her grandmother’s, the knotwork on the head has been recut twice, and the free hand stays clenched because she has never once needed it for anything other than balance.

A Sculpt Frozen at the Worst Possible Moment: Arbiter Miniatures caught her at full extension — back leg straight, cape flung wide, axe at its apex. That flowing cape doubles as a support-free painting handle and a huge flat panel for a freehand clan mark if you want one. The knotwork axe head matches the twin axes carried by her shieldmate in this range, so the two of them read as a matched pair on the table.
