From the maker
The vines are not scenery. They arrived when she did.
Ysolde Greenmantle does not summon so much as invite, and the difference matters a great deal to the things that answer. She works slowly, with her hands open, and the ground around her changes while she does it. Nothing she calls up has ever left afterwards, which is why she is no longer welcome in two of the four river villages.
A Sculpt Where the Spell Is Part of the Model: Arbiter Miniatures sculpted the rising vines as integral to the base, which means the magic is physically present rather than implied — and it gives you a second, entirely separate colour scheme to play with alongside her robes. Those coils also catch a green glaze beautifully and take almost no brush control to look convincing.
