The Pinkish Purple Hug Cat was inspired by a cherished memory of a kitten chasing a butterfly. To capture this moment, a tiny butterfly-embroidered pocket was sewn on the front, near the tummy. This playful detail reflects the original inspiration and adds a delicate touch. Later Hug series designs — the Hug Bear and Black Hug Cat — evolved with different details to suit their overall design, while keeping the same care, craftsmanship, and hand-stitched charm.

Each little face is hand-embroidered, so no two expressions are ever the same. The back zipper is hidden, with a smooth YKK pull to keep small items like earbuds, lip balm, or keys secure.

The Pinkish Purple Hug Cat fabric shifts gently with light — more purple outdoors, softer pink indoors.

Product Details / Features

· Size: Approx. 3.5" × 7.8" — fits in pockets or clips onto bag straps · Durable YKK zipper and solid brass snaps for secure storage and strap attachment · Material: All Hug series pieces use premium, carefully selected fabrics — Pinkish Purple Hug Cat: floral yarn flannel; Hug Bear: corduroy; Black Hug Cat: 100% wool

Special Note

Front pocket fabric is lightly starched — softens after washing and regains slight stiffness when dry. Edge finishing may vary and may be replaced with overlocked edges; different techniques offer different benefits, and adjustments are made based on customer feedback.

Please note that the Hug series isn’t designed to hold glasses and isn’t recommended for them either, as the metal zipper on the back could scratch the lenses. I recommend the Penguin Glasses Pouch instead—it also works as a bag charm and features a magnetic closure that’s much more convenient for everyday use.
