Telar Woven Glasses Case/Cover Handmade in Santo Tomás Jalieza, Oaxaca

These glasses cases are woven using the traditional backstrap loom technique in Santo Tomás Jalieza, a town known for its textile artistry. The fabric is soft yet sturdy, lined inside for protection, and finished with a zipper and a small tassel. The patterns, woven by hand, are based on traditional Zapotec iconography and color combinations.

This case is ideal for sunglasses or reading glasses but can also be used as a pencil case or pouch for small items. Lightweight and compact, it’s a practical way to carry a piece of Oaxaca’s weaving heritage with you.
