Solid 14k Opal and Diamond cocktail Ring

Opals like this are hard to find, even a triplet like this is rare. A triplet is made using a thin slice of natural opal and is then sandwiched between a dome of quartz and a backing of onyx. All three parts are natural gemstones. The opal itself is from Australia and opals of this beauty are one in a million.This ring was made by me specifically to hold this opal and is solid 14k yellow gold.On each side, two natural diamonds sit within their 14k white gold bezels.The opal triplet measures 13x18mmTriplets are a good choice for cocktail rings as they are more durable than solid opals as they have a higher moh's hardness and are lower in cost.This ring is a size 7.5One of a kind, ready to ship.
