A Story Told In Loot: The barrel is the best thing on the model and the best reason to paint it carefully, because wood staves and iron bands put a warm colour and a cold one right next to each other on a big flat surface. The two mismatched shields do the same job lower down. Everything else is skin and a scale-pattern kilt, so you can put your effort into three small props and let a wash carry the rest.
