Hearth Shovel

Handcrafted here in Indiana by blacksmith Mark Thomas. 28” long. Perfect for cleaning your hearth or tending your campfire coals. Cooks of the 18th and 19th centuries also heated hearth shovels in the fire and used them as salamanders to brown the outer surfaces of meat, puddings, or desserts. Blade measures approximately 4-1/2” x 6”.
