This sculptural seashell form was handmade in Santa Cruz de Cachán using barro alisado, a technique where clay is shaped by hand or on a rustic lathe, smoothed with a river stone, and then fired in a wood-burning kiln. The surface is left unglazed, letting the terracotta color and smoky fire markings show through.

Its spiraled shape mimics a caracol shell, honoring the coastal environment and cultural connection to the sea. Whether placed on a bookshelf, altar, or tabletop, it brings movement and warmth to any space.
