On the fabric: a black field scattered with small reds, whites, yellows. Flowers that look like they grew there, not printed. The skirt opens wide. Full enough to move. Long enough to almost touch the ground. We photographed it at a small estate. Fountains. Hydrangeas. The light that comes after rain. The dress didn't pose. It just belonged.

The reactive printing process works by permanently locking colour into the right flax we tested. Consequently, it can be washed many times and resist fading. With high-pressure steamer, the linen has a higher colour yield so allows for brighter colour vibrance and rub fastness.
