From the maker
No helm. She wants the people behind her to see whose sword that is.
Dame Ysoria leads from the front and bare-headed, which is tactically indefensible and has never once been questioned by anyone who has followed her. The raised sword is a signal before it is a weapon. By the time it comes down, the line behind her is already moving.
A Sculpt Made to Be Followed: Arbiter Miniatures put the blade at the top of the reach and left the head bare, so the eye goes face-first and then up the arm — the opposite of the helmed knight in this same batch. Loose hair against hard plate gives you two very different surfaces meeting at the shoulder, which is the most satisfying transition to paint in the range.
