These clocked and ribbed Wool Stockings are made of a medium weight 99% wool with a little bit of nylon on the edge. They are very soft and warm, great for wicking away moisture. Long, over-the-knee design. 23" un-stretched from heel to top of the stocking. One size fits most. Available in charcoal gray or cream. Made in the USA.

The ribbing and clocking on these stockings are based on extant examples. Worsted wool stockings were worn by most social classes in the 18th & 19th centuries. The finer the texture or weave, the more expensive the stockings.
