The number 7 has long been associated with luck in Western culture and held deep significance in many ancient civilizations. Hanging a horseshoe above a doorway in a “U” shape is said to invite good fortune while keeping evil spirits at bay. Traditionally, horseshoes were secured with 7 nails, believed to be the luckiest number of all.

777 is famously used on slot machines to signal a jackpot, becoming one of the most recognizable symbols of luck and fortune. The number is considered so desirable that collectors often seek out currency with 777 serial numbers, with the US Mint even offering uncirculated 777 $1 bills for that very reason.
