The FBC basement flooded during the storm, and as usual I was the one chosen to go down and reset the breakers at the electrical service panel to restore power. I asked for boots, since I did not want to ruin my new shoes or go in barefoot; I have seen rodent droppings down there from the day off I spent sealing gaps with expanding foam. Penelope's suggestion was plastic bags over my shoes, secured with rubber bands to keep the filthy water out. When I asked why we could not simply hire a handyman, she said it was because the last two had hit on me and I had complained about it. So because I am just so hot and irresistible to men with tools, the company now has to rely on me for repairs.
