From the maker

On July 16, 1945, the first nuclear weapon in the world was tested at the Trinity Site in New Mexico. It was chosen for its isolated location and still air. Unlike most explosives, the atomic bomb itself is said to have no scent. This essence captures the perfume of electrical ions filling the vast desert, the sand melting into millions of pieces of green glass, and the sparse Piñons - vanished with only their sweet resins filling the air.

So often my perfume concepts are a joyful exploration of things that I have a deep interest and appreciation of. Things that are overlooked, forgotten in the past, or underrepresented in the world of perfume. But this year I experienced a tragedy that took me to a scarier mindset. I always seem to find comfort in exploring dark and sad themes through creative work, it is how I process.

This perfume is about finding beauty that still exists somewhere, in some form, in even the most devastating moments.
