Nearly 40 years after the events of Top Gun, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell becomes a teacher of a new class of pilots, including his late best friend’s son, “Rooster”. Using his old tactics of being a rebellious but precise flight expert to usher in a new team that must learn to work together or be thrust into things that are far more dangerous than training.
