*NEW* A new raku workshop is now available offering new processes to explore! Now you can choose between RAKU 1 where we explore obvara, glaze and horsehair and feather. And RAKU 2 which covers smoke, slip and saggar firing. If you needed an excuse to come back to the woods, then this is it!

Both raku workshops 1 and 2 are a whole day in beautiful Hampshire woodland firing pottery in a raku kiln. The workshop is set in private ancient woodland near Clanfield, Hampshire. The precise location will be sent after booking.

No experience of pottery or raku is necessary, we will guide you through the whole exciting process.

Workshops take place on Fridays.

Numbers are limited to maintain a small and intimate group workshop.

We will meet in the woods and walk to the site together and spend the day immersed in the woodland learning about various glazing techniques for raku.

You will learn how to safely fire your pots and experience the exciting process of raku.

You will have 2 or 3 pots to take home at the end of the day (fingers crossed, raku can be perilous!)

Pots and all glazes and materials will be provided. Lunch and refreshments included.
