Kaveth fights stripped down. No cuirass, no helm, just a wrapped headband, a studded baldric across the chest and a banded skirt of plates, which on a giant is a decision rather than poverty. The weapon is a two-handed haft with a length of chain running off the end and a heavy square-studded head on the far side of it, and Medusa caught it at the top of the arc with the head still swinging out wide. There is a sword sheathed at his back that he clearly has not needed.

A Sculpt With Real Air In It: The raised arms and the trailing chain leave open space above the shoulders, so this one reads across a table in a way that hunched monsters never do. It also gives you most of the torso bare, which is the easiest surface in the range to practise skin blending on before you commit to a face. The banded skirt below does the opposite job: deep recesses that take a wash and need nothing after it.

Suggested RPG Use: He is the one who closes. Where the warlord holds a line, this giant goes around it, and a flail that swings past cover is a good reason to make the party leave the doorway they were hiding in. Run him as a champion who fights unarmoured because nothing has managed to hurt him yet, and let the party work out why that is.
