Heart Art—State Plates & Dates

Artist Showcase | State Plate Art by Anthony Martinez This is our second project with Anthony Martinez! Our first collaborative creation, State Plate Heart Art, has been super popular, so we’re launching another heart project together!

State Plates & Dates It begins with the same heart art that you all love. Still, it enhances the love story by adding an anniversary date, a name, or another word that is significant to you and your sweetheart—all held together on a gorgeous board made with reclaimed pallet wood.

State Plate Heart Art is made with license plates from all around the USA. They are cut and fastened by hand in Anthony’s shop in Keller, Texas. Every reused plate is unique, so each work of art is one-of-a-kind.

The Date Part is made with license plate scraps and trimmings. It can hold one line of text with up to ten characters, which is the perfect amount of space for a date or short name!

❤️ Build Your Own State Plate Heart ❤️ Each heart is made from two license plates. Your heart can be from one state or choose a different state for each side. If you have a special request, let us know in the Customize MyOrder form.

👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻 Anthony's & Cara's State Plate Story  Anthony and his wife Cara both grew up on farms in Oklahoma. So Anthony made them this Oklahoma/Oklahoma heart with farm truck plates, and their anniversary date, 05/03/03, collaged from license plates below it.

This distinctly American and completely customizable 'heartwork' is the perfect gift for celebrating special occasions and remembering significant dates with the car enthusiast in your life!
