This handmade set of two leather bookmarks celebrates that connection through the symbolism of Yin and Yang.

Crafted from brown Vachetta leather, the two bookmarks are designed as complementary pieces. Their white Yang and black Yin charms are carefully positioned so that, when the bookmarks are placed side by side, the two symbols visually complete each other.

The design carries this idea even further through the engraving. One message reads from top to bottom, while the other reads in the opposite direction, from bottom to top. Together, the words create a continuous flow — a circle with no real beginning or end.

The first bookmark features a white Yang charm, wrapped at the bottom with black cord and finished with black suede cord at the top.

Its engraving reads:

“I will guide your steps...”

Beneath the message, your chosen initials and anniversary date complete the design.

The second bookmark features a black Yin charm, also secured with black cord and finished with the same black suede cord.

Its engraving continues:

“...and I will carry your heart”

The same initials and date appear beneath the message, connecting the two pieces.

Both bookmarks include free custom engraving on both sides. You can keep the wording shown in the photos or personalize the text with your own message.

The design is intentionally narrow, so I recommend keeping the engraving to a maximum of two lines per side for a balanced, readable result.

A small customization detail: If it matters who receives the Yin bookmark and who receives the Yang bookmark, please specify which person's text or initials should go on each one in the personalization instructions. Otherwise, I'll follow the arrangement shown in the listing.
