This vintage figure skating costume is pure joy in motion, it practically dances on its own. I came across this one during a lucky haul of competition figure skating leotards and was instantly charmed by the electric sapphire blue and that cheeky fringe hemline.

The bodice is a vibrant, stretchy blue with a flattering fit, and the top features an illusion mesh with a sharp blue effect. Honestly it's giving ice-goddess and i love it! Especially with smaller iridescent sequins lining the edge of the blue material. One sleeve is sheer with some blue at the end while the other is solid, creating this magical asymmetry that feels like something out of a fairy tale on ice.

The hem is full of long ribbon-like strips, each tipped with reflective silver paillettes that catch the light when you twirl — it’s impossible to wear this and not want to do a lil shimmy.

Though it was made for the rink, I immediately thought how fun it could be for festivals, stage performances, or even styled up for a fantasy-themed shoot.
