Mexican Embroidered Huipil Handmade in the Istmo de Tehuantepec region in Oaxaca, Mexico.

These traditional short huipiles, or square blouses, are special in Oaxaca's Istmo de Tehuantepec region. Here, expert artisans use chain stitches, called "bordado de cadenilla," to create bold, geometric designs. This manual machine requires years of training and generational expertise to achieve such intricate detailing. Each huipil takes about three days to make, showing off the skill and dedication behind this traditional craft.
