Psychosis awareness butterfly

A mental health issue we don’t talk about enough: psychosis. People in psychosis are portrayed in the media as dangerous, while studies show they are more likely to be the victim of danger. With this sticker design, I wanted to portray the possibility for growth.  A butterfly is delicate but resilient. People in psychosis are vulnerable but show remarkable strength. A butterfly represents freedom, despite what most people believe, recovery from psychosis is possible. I combined the butterfly with the green mental health ribbon. There is still a lot of awareness and acceptance needed around this mental health issue. .
